The CPUs that keeps up with AI performance
Intel launched three new Xeon® 6 processors, as well as a B-variant. The CPUs comes with Priority Core Turbo (PCT) technology boosts AI workloads and helps you get the most out of your cores. It is designed to specifically manage the most advanced GPU powered AI systems and comes with Performance cores (P-cores) as well as Intel® Speed Select Technology - Turbo Frequency (Intel® SST-TF) which means you will get more fine control over your CPU core frequencies for those demanding tasks.
NVIDIA DGX B300 AI Systems
The Intel® Xeon® 6776P processor will make its debut in NVIDIA DGX B300. It will play a huge role in managing and supporting the AI accelerated system. Intel says that the introduction of PCT and Intel SST-TF as a pairing marks "a significant leap forward in AI system performance." The PCT allows for dynamic prioritization of high-priority cores, enabling higher turbo frequencies. Meanwhile, lower-priority cores will work at a lower base frequency in parallel to optimize resource distribution.
High core count and Exceptional Single Thread Performance
With up to 128 P-cores per CPU, these processors will balance workload distribution for intensive AI tasks.
30% Faster Memory Speeds
30% faster memory speed compared to the latest AMD EPYC processor, because of Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMMs), Compute Express Link and up to 2.3x higher memory bandwidth compared to the previous generation.
Increased I/O Performance
With up to 20% more PCIe lanes than previous Xeon processors, these CPUs enable faster data transfer for I/O-intensive workloads.
