Supermicro's Super AI Station

The Supermicro ARS-511GD-NB-LCC Super AI Station marks a significant evolution in AI computing hardware, bringing data-center-class performance into a compact, workstation form factor. This platform is a complete, liquid-cooled AI workstation/server built around cutting-edge technologies. Driven by the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip, its ready for demanding workloads and eliminate bottlenecks.
A datacenter grade workstation
At its core, the ARS-511GD-NB-LCC integrates the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip, which combines a 72-core NVIDIA Grace CPU with an NVIDIA Blackwell B300 GPU with up to 279Gb HBM3e and 775 GB coherent high-bandwidth memory. This design allows the system to deliver more than five times the AI performance (in PFLOPS) compared to traditional PCIe-based GPU workstations, thanks to the embrace of CPU and GPU resources over NVLink and massive coherent memory support.
Ideal users and use cases
The ARS-511GD-NB-LCC is designed for researchers, organizations and professionals who demand server-grade AI compute power on-premises, without relying on large clusters or public cloud resources. Its combination of performance, memory capacity, and integrated networking makes it particularly well-suited for:
- Deep-tech startups and innovation labs that require local development environments for AI model training and fine-tuning.
- Research institutions and higher education facilities running large-scale simulations, machine learning research, and algorithm prototyping.
- Government and regulated sectors where data privacy, security, and latency concerns make cloud computing impractical.
- Teams working with very large models (supporting models up to hundreds of billions or more parameters) that benefit from coherent memory and tightly coupled CPU-GPU performance.
